At Realm of the Evergreen, we believe that lasting stories are grown, not manufactured. The Call for Manuscripts is our way of opening the studio doors to new voices whose work embodies the same values that guide everything we create: clarity, depth, and enduring craft.
This is more than a submission call. It is an invitation to collaborate. We are building a small but thoughtful library of books, audiobooks, and visual essays that will form the foundation of the Evergreen archive. Every project begins with a written seed, takes root through audio, and may eventually bloom into a visual form. Some stories stay within one branch, while others grow across all three. What matters most is that each work holds meaning beyond the moment.
A Studio for Timeless Ideas
Realm of the Evergreen is an independent literary media studio, not a traditional publisher or agency. We are a small team of writers, editors, and creative producers who care about quality over quantity. Our publishing model is built on collaboration. When we select a project, we work directly with the author to refine and expand it, supporting its transition from text to sound or image, if it naturally lends itself to this format.
We only publish a limited number of titles each year, and each one receives individual care. This allows us to preserve what makes a project unique, ensuring that the author’s vision remains at the center of every decision.
What We’re Looking For
We are open to both finished manuscripts and early-stage concepts. If you have an idea that feels alive, complete, or quietly waiting to be nurtured, we would love to see it.
Our four creative branches help guide the kinds of stories and ideas we seek:
Earth: Deep nonfiction that explores philosophy, spirituality, and cultural ideas
Air: Speculative fiction that looks toward the future or reimagines the present
Water: Epic fantasy and immersive world-building grounded in emotion and purpose
Fire: Literary or emotional fiction that reveals truth through character and voice
Across all genres, we value thoughtfulness over trendiness, clear and graceful language, and projects that encourage slow engagement and reflection. We seek integrity of vision and the courage to explore both complex and beautiful ideas with honesty and integrity.
Submission Process
We accept unsolicited submissions through our official Google Form. You may submit:
A completed manuscript in Word or PDF
A proposal or concept outline with a 3–5,000-word sample
A link to published or performed work, if applicable
A brief intent statement or cover letter that helps us understand your vision
There are no fees to submit or to publish. We view this as a creative partnership, not a paid service. Each submission is reviewed with care, and although we may not be able to respond to every entry, we give every project our full attention during the review process.
If your manuscript aligns with our editorial focus, we will reach out to discuss the next steps. Selected authors will be invited to collaborate on a tailored publishing plan that reflects both the project’s potential and the Evergreen mission.
Ongoing Projects
Several works are already in development within the studio’s current publishing slate. Titles such as Witness of the Precipice, Cascade Noir, and Ignis Aeternus showcase our range, from introspective post-apocalyptic fiction to interconnected anthologies and alternate-history epics. These projects reflect our long-term goal of cultivating a diverse and timeless library of ideas that continue to evolve through written, spoken, and visual forms.
