The Scribe's Studio: Creative Project Support
Who This Is For: This offering is designed for writers and creators working in fiction, memoir, hybrid work, speculative prose, personal essays, poetry, or creative nonfiction. Whether you're just getting started or returning to a dormant project, we welcome:
Emerging writers refining a manuscript or chapbook
Seasoned creators seeking clarity or re-orientation
Artists moving between disciplines or blending forms
Anyone tired of gatekeeping and seeking practical, human, honest feedback
What You'll Receive: Each session includes the following deliverables:
A thorough written review of your submitted work (up to 10 pages or ~3,000 words)
Detailed line edits and margin comments (Google Docs or Word)
A 60-90 minute 1-on-1 consultation (via Google Meets, phone, or in-person)
A customized next-steps roadmap with suggestions, resources, or additional prompts. For larger manuscripts, multi-part packages or mentorship tracks are available.
How It Works:
Submit your work and a brief creative intent statement
We review your piece with attention to structure, voice, clarity, and originality
We meet live to explore edits, discuss your goals, and surface the most resonant next steps
You receive a PDF with notes, takeaways, and curated recommendations
You decide if you'd like to continue or pursue publication, revision, or experimentation
What Makes This Different:
Holistic Support: We don't believe in "rules" of writing, only in helping your voice sharpen into itself. Our diverse team ensures a broad range of perspectives.
Collaborative Power: If one Scribe cannot complete a task or a particular expertise is needed, the entire studio is here to support the mission, ensuring comprehensive administrative, editorial, and content creation assistance.
Our editing philosophy is rooted in trauma-informed and anti-perfectionist principles.
Clear, plainspoken feedback without jargon or tone-policing.
Flexible Engagement: Option to work without video, use chat-based feedback, or adjust pace to energy needs, reflecting our adaptive shared workspace culture.
